Thanks to Vanity Fair we get our first official look at the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood –Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) a washed-up actor who fumbled his transition from TV to film and Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) Dalton’s best friend and stunt double. Dalton happens to live next door to Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), We also see Al Pacino play as the fictional agent, Marvin Shwarz.
Director Quentin Tarantino is no stranger to being in the spotlight and his new film seems to be giving him the most negative attention as “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is said to pay homage to the grisly murders of Sharon Tate at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers. The twist is that Tarantino is adamant on the fact that this movie pays homage to the late 60’s and not Manson, in fact it focuses on 1969 and it happens that the murders happen to be a very important part of that year. Either way in true Tarantino fashion, we are sure we will not get what we expect.
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood opens on July 26, 2019.
