No matter how disappointed you may have or have not been with any of the Super Bowl, there is always several golden nuggets that will appear during the commercial breaks. This year was no exception from several teaser spots for the long-awaited “Scary Stories to tell in the Dark” we also got an ad for Jordan’ Peele’s upcoming CBS series of The Twilight Zone and it left us wanting more. I must admit I wasn’t super hyped about this project but after the Superbowl spot I am sold. The use of lighting and camera placement in the commercial to leave you reminiscing of the older black and white show with a hint of the signature title theme playing.
Peele will be hosting and executive producing the show that will be air on CBS’s All Access Channel on April 1st. The first two episodes will air on that Monday then followed by weekly episodes on Thursdays. Several actors have been linked to the project which include: John Cho, Steven Yeun, Jacob Tremblay, DeWanda Wise, Jessica Williams, Rhea Seehorn, Kumail Nanjiani, Luke Kirby, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, and Taissa Farmiga.
