With “The Prodigy” arriving in theatres yesterday we got a early bonus of the first trailer for the Child’s Play reboot. Ever since the mention of the reboot and some of the early stills to be shown before the trailer, several of the content creators here at Horror Pulse have been apprehensive on what is to come. With a deep love of Mancini’s franchise and the iconic character of Chucky (Brad Dourif) its odd to see this new take on everyone’s favorite Buddy doll…err I mean BUDDI doll. With this trailer we see that it appears to be ultra-violent and more serious than the later Child’s Play movies as of recent, but also has a very terminator feel to it. Either way we are keeping our minds open here and hoping that the new storyline and premise will be worth the wait
