Ghostface is back and ready to start asking “Do you like scary movies?” as production of the next Scream installment is set to begin production in the next few weeks.
Paramount Pictures announced that their relaunch of Scream will be releasing in theaters on January 14, 2022. Great news is that Paramount have also said that the new installment will remain canon with Wes Craven’s films.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are directing, Jenna Ortega (“You”) Melissa Barrera (“Vida,” In the Heights) Courteney Cox (as Gale Weathers) and David Arquette (as Dewey Riley) have been cast. No word as of yet on Neve Campbell returning as Sydney Prescott
